Our People

Our staff includes project personnel of all disciplines and functions, with experiences across a wide variety of industries. We have as a company philosophy a ‘can do’ approach and a desire to work with our clients in a collaborative manner. The selection of our people places great emphasis on having commensurate qualities.

We employ engineers of all disciplines, construction management and supervision personnel of all disciplines, Planners, Cost Planners, QA Engineers, Procurement and Contracts Administration personnel, Project Administration and other support personnel.

All of these personnel have experience with major project owners, contractors or consultants and bring vast experience to our clients and their projects.

Steve Laracy, as the founder of Larpro, provides strategic direction and operational focus, and he also retains an operational role. He is a Civil Engineer with more than 25 years experience across a very broad range and style of projects. He has held senior project and corporate roles with Leighton Contractors, United Group Resources, Roche Process Engineering (Downer EDI) and Bechtel. He has worked in London for leading international design consultants and has experience on projects in Europe, Asia and the Middle East in addition to his Australian experience.
